At Area 15, one of Las Vegas’ most dynamic entertainment hubs, Sleek Floors Inc. was entrusted with delivering a commercial concrete finishing solution that could meet the space’s high design standards and demanding traffic levels. From vertical concrete wall staining to a full grind and seal floor system, our team delivered results that balance durability, aesthetic depth, and long-term performance.
Custom Heading: Concrete Artistry for a High-Traffic Entertainment Venue
Our scope of work focused on two main systems: vertical wall staining and densification, and a grind and seal floor finish enhanced with industrial-grade coatings.
To begin, we transformed the raw vertical concrete walls using ColorHard stain, which created a deep, rich tone while preserving the natural concrete texture. This was followed by the application of LS Densifier, a lithium-silicate treatment that significantly boosts surface hardness and longevity. We sealed the stained walls with Concrete Protector Sealer to prevent dusting, moisture intrusion, and future wear—ideal for the 24/7 activity of Area 15.
On the floors, we installed our grind and seal system across all rooms. After mechanically grinding the concrete to the correct profile, we applied Westcoat epoxy followed by a polyurethane topcoat, producing a smooth, high-gloss finish that’s as resilient as it is visually sleek. This system is perfect for high-volume commercial use and supports both safety and design needs.
