Revitalizing a High-Traffic Commercial Space with Durable, Polished Concrete
At Sleek Floors Inc., we recently completed a concrete flooring renovation at the US Foods distribution center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The original epoxy coating had deteriorated over time due to heavy daily traffic and forklift use, resulting in visible wear and surface damage. Our team was brought in to restore and enhance the flooring system with a more durable, low-maintenance solution: mechanically polished concrete.

Our scope began with removal of the existing epoxy coating, which had lost adhesion and showed significant wear. Once exposed, we addressed the underlying surface damage and cracks using TX 3 Concrete Repair, a high-performance patching solution designed for industrial environments.
We then executed a full mechanical concrete polishing process, refining the floor to a smooth, reflective finish. This system was chosen not only for its resistance to abrasion and traffic but also for its easy cleaning and modern appearance, ideal for a high-visibility commercial setting.
